The challenge
School canteens and tuck shops run on cash: queues at break, takings that are hard to reconcile, and no practical way for a parent to control or see what their child spends.
What we built
Coolcard is a debit card sales system built for canteen and tuck shop counters. Pupils pay by card, takings reconcile automatically, and the schools running it have kept it in daily service since 2012.
